"The situation is so different in the same world."

I have seen many "fields" such as wars, genocide, land mines, poverty, discrimination, child soldiers, street children, etc. in various places. There are many people in the world who live in unbelievable situations in Japan. They can't even ask anyone for help.
When I met such people, I was urged to do something. But there is nothing I can do without money and no special skills. What I found there was a means called "class". I thought that we could change the future of people by providing what we do in Japan for free in the world.

Global is "a distant neighborhood"

Many Japanese people have a negative image about jumping out into the world, being "scary" and "anxious". It's no wonder they are scared at first because they are from different countries and cultures. The same was true for me, who went out into the world from the age of 30.
However, I noticed while making friends in various countries and conducting peace activities together. In Japan and in the world, others are others. But they are all the same person. We're human.
When I thought about it, the fear disappeared and the world expanded one after another. Nowadays, there are many family members in each country. We are working with such friends.

"A future where everyone is connected to the world"

Even before becoming an NPO, Nakayoshi Gakuen accompanied more than 100 Japanese people to overseas activities and worked together locally. From 5 years old to seniors, literally "anyone" can work abroad.
Now that the SDGs are being important, people all over the world are required to take action. The world could not be changed by experts alone. The world is not someone's, it's ours. Nakayoshi Gakuen is thinking about various projects and working with many friends to become a bridge between Japan and the world.
The future is what we create. Let's create a future together that is peaceful and makes everyone smile!

Countries of activity

CAMBODIA

In South east Asia, many people visit Cambodia. Cambodia has the world heritage site, Angkor Wat. But Cambodian has sad history. In 1970s they had genocide by Khmer Rouge. About 3 million people were killed. The number is 1/3 of all citizens.

After the war, they still have sad story. More than 3 million landmines are under ground in Cambodia. So we support Cambodia by education.

RWANDA

In Rwanda, located in central Africa, a genocide against the Tutsi tribe broke out in 1994, killing one million people in three months. In this country, which has experienced many tragedy and difficulties, many people still have mixed emotions. However, a generation that does not know genocide is gradually growing, and it is growing rapidly, especially in urban areas, which is unlikely to be a developing country.

On the other hand, there are still no schools in rural areas, and there are many people who have difficulty living. We are affiliated with the Rwanda Educational Thinking Group. It also conducts educational support activities in partnership with multiple schools in Rwanda.

NEPAL

Nepal, which is classified as a least developed country (LDC) in Asia, is in poverty due to various factors such as caste-based social division, lack of educational environment, and child marriage.
In addition, the big earthquake in 2015 has devastated the economy. The school building is still unlikely to be rebuilt long after the earthquake. Students have been studying in the prefabricated school building. We have partnered with UNESCO to provide educational support activities at multiple local schools, women's support facilities and orphanages.

UGANDA

Located in central Africa, the Republic of Uganda is a country rich in nature located on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Uganda has several refugee camps and grants refugees residence and labor rights. We are active in the Rwamwanja refugee camp in the west. Refugee camps are full of problems such as housing, work, education and infrastructure. We carry out educational support activities locally with the permission of UNHCR.

DRCONGO

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), located in the central part of Africa, is a large country with three times the land area of Japan.
In DRCongo, there were many child soldiers (boys and girls soldiers), war orphans, street children, etc. They have many problems now. We have partnered with the Children's Rehabilitation School Provide Hope in Action to support peace building in Congo with education.
