CAMBODIA PROJECT
In South east Asia, many people visit Cambodia. Cambodia has the world heritage site, Angkor Wat. But Cambodian has sad history. In 1970s they had genocide by Khmer Rouge. About 3 million people were killed. The number is 1/3 of all citizens.
After the war, they still have sad story. More than 3 million landmines are under ground in Cambodia. So we support Cambodia by education.

Every materials have 3 conditions, gas, liquid and solid. We explain it with cotton candy. Every students know sugar. But when I put the sugar into water, sugar diaappear. And when I put sugar into cotton candy machine...
It's first time for students to see cotton candy. They're very very surprised at seeing and tasting cotton candy.
They remember our lesson. We grow the spirits of science.
Demining landmines
Supproting Aki•Ra's CSHD, NGO
It is said that as many as 6 million landmines were buried in Cambodia at the end of the civil war. More than 40 years later, 3 million landmines still there and they kill people's hands, legs, and sometimes lives every day.
We have teamed up with Aki•Ra. He is very famous and he is featured in Japanese English textbooks. We support the schools he builed.
The members have a special tour of the demining site and convey the horror and sadness of people in Cambodia to Japan. We are also conducting fund-raising activities to support demining in Cambodia.

Art lesson for kids
Japanese-Cambodian friendship
There are many areas in Cambodia, where not enough learning tools. In such areas, drawing with paint has become great art lesson.
We teach arts and crafts using the paint sets. We have collected these tools in Japan. Children, the same generation, will work together, drawing a picture on one campus and decorate the classroom with their works. Creating your own "work" is an important education to start making things from nothing. Nakayoshi Gakuen has a fun drawing class.
Sports lesson in Cambodia
Learn rules through sports
In rural Cambodia, children are free to run around. They play until sunset in the vast nature. However, since there is a terrifying weapon called "landmine" sleeping in this country. They have to obey the rules "never come close to landmines". So it's important for children to observe rules such as "no entry" .
We teach such "observing the rules" through sports. Set up soccer goals in an empty field, create a soccer club, hold soccer classes by coaches brought from Japan, and hold the "Japan VS Cambodia" World Cup with friends of the same generation. They enjoy learning rules through soccer.
