NEPAL PROJECT

SINCE2019

Nepal, which is classified as a least developed country (LDC) in Asia, is in poverty due to various factors such as caste-based social division, lack of educational environment, and child marriage.
In addition, the big earthquake in 2015 has devastated the economy. The school building is still unlikely to be rebuilt long after the earthquake. Students have been studying in the prefabricated school building. We have partnered with UNESCO to provide educational support activities at multiple local schools, women's support facilities and orphanages.

Teaching "change of state" with cotton candy

"Experience" the fun of science

The educational environment is still insufficient in Nepal, and the number of schools will decrease once you step out of the capital Kathmandu. In addition, many schools have collapsed due to the 2015 earthquake. In such schools, there are not enough experimental tools, and classes that only read textbooks continue. We bring a cotton candy machine to explain the changes in the state of science, and let the students actually experience the fun of science with their own eyes and "taste".
As in any country, students who see cotton candy for the first time are surprised and don't think it's made of sugar. But when they tried it ... "It's sugar!!" They exclaim!!
Using their own taste in this way to make sure that the substance is the same even if the condition changes is an important step for science. Nakayoshi Gakuen's fun experimental classroom fosters children's curiosity and science interest.

Creativity class created from ZERO

Ideas and execution power create 0 to 1

In Nepal, the school buildings still collapsed due to the impact of the 2015 earthquake, and there are many schools that teach in prefabricated school buildings. Not only are these schools not available with satisfactory teaching materials, but they also lack exercise and physical education equipment, which often leads to students spending less time indoors.
Therefore, thinking that "what you don't have is created by ideas," Nakayoshi Gakuen offers physical education classes in each region of Nepal. We teach a number of competitions, such as a "trash can basket" with a trash can as a goal, a "large ball rolling" using a balance ball, and a long rope, to solve the lack of exercise for children.
Nakayoshi Gakuen has been conducting educational support activities in areas where the learning environment is not well-established due to the effects of war and poverty. Our activity to make 1 from the state of 0 is exactly the activity to sow seeds in the burnt field. We will continue to support Nepal so that beautiful flowers will bloom.

Light lesson with black light

Stimulate curiosity with familiar science

Nepal has many areas where there are not enough textbooks and writing utensils in schools. Therefore, we are carrying out activities to deliver the study tools collected in Japan to the students, but the educational effect is not high just by sending the tools.
Therefore, I use black light to teach "light" and "the mechanism of seeing things". This class is held everywhere, including schools and women's support facilities. I am surprised to learn how characters that are not visible at first glance can be seen by special light.
We utilize many "excellent things" in Japan for our lessons. There are many world-class products and technologies in Japan. Not only by using it as a product, but also by transforming it into a lesson that teaches the mechanism as a teaching material, we will sow the seeds of technology in that country. I think this is exactly the "sustainable development" of Nakayoshi Gakuen.

Know the "world" from friends of the same generation!

Build a true form of international exchange

There are many people in Nepal who know about Japan. Many of them have come to study abroad or work in Japan, and I have a very strong impression of their interest in Japan.
However, it is a tough dream for Nepalese children to travel abroad to Japan. They are enthusiastic about Japan by listening to a few information and stories from people who have experience in Japan. In order to teach Japan to such children, Nakayoshi Gakuen recruits a wide range of members, and if they pass the employment examination, they are allowed to work locally regardless of age.
Children of the same generation will learn about the "world" by learning together. Even if they have different languages and cultures, they will reach the point of being the same "human being". We believe that this learning will eventually be the seed for peaceful change in this world.

Students both countries

We bring the best education to them

For 6 hours, we go to rural areas.

We can build the first step from zero.

Our lessons are noty only for children but for women

We teach women, and they teach their children

Many students look forward to our lesson
