Rwanda project
In Rwanda, located in central Africa, a genocide against the Tutsi tribe broke out in 1994, killing one million people in three months. In this country, which has experienced many tragedy and difficulties, many people still have mixed emotions. However, a generation that does not know genocide is gradually growing, and it is growing rapidly, especially in urban areas, which is unlikely to be a developing country.
On the other hand, there are still no schools in rural areas, and there are many people who have difficulty living. We are affiliated with the Rwanda Educational Thinking Group. It also conducts educational support activities in partnership with multiple schools in Rwanda.

Teaching "condition changing"
Tell the interest in science
Now in Rwanda, Schools are finally starting to be built in various parts of Rwanda. However, many schools do not have enough experimental tools, and teachers can only read textbooks. So we support their lessons.
Every materials have 3 conditions, gas, liquid and solid. We explain it with cotton candy. Every students know sugar. But when I put the sugar into water, sugar diaappear. And when I put sugar into cotton candy machine...
It's first time for students to see cotton candy. They're very very surprised at seeing and tasting cotton candy.
They remember our lesson. We grow the spirits of science.
Educational support activities at the school level
Kibagabaga School as a Model School
There is a school called Kibagabaga in the suburbs of the capital Kigali. Nakamura, the representative of Nakayoshi Gakuen, is in charge of classes every six months at this school as a special teacher. When Nakamura visits Rwanda, he will teach in as many classes as time permits. Nakamura showed a class that was interested in studying while all the faculty members visited and the students in the school "stand-looking" from the window.
At first, the teachers at this school, who only read textbooks, were influenced by Nakamura, and now they are trying to make handmade teaching tools and giving lessons to students to learn together.
Nakayoshi Gakuen will continue to provide lessons on a school-by-school basis to improve the quality of education in Rwanda and cooperate in human resource development while stimulating students' willingness to study.

Density lesson using dried bonito
Stimulate curiosity with familiar science
Schools have been established one after another in Rwanda due to remarkable development in recent years, but there are still many areas where there is a large gap with the rural areas and the city areas. In rural areas, there are not enough writing tools. Students are very pleased with the class of experiencing "density" using "Katsuobushi, the hardest food in the world" as a teaching tool.
We utilize many "excellent things" in Japan for our lessons. We Japanese have many world-class products and technologies in Japan. Not only by using it as a product, but also by transforming it into a lessons that teaches the mechanism as a teaching material, we will sow the seeds of technology in those country. I think this is exactly the "sustainable development" of Nakayoshi Gakuen.
I even teach you how to brush your teeth for your health!
The development of developing countries starts from "close"
When you go to the rural areas of Rwanda, there are places where people cannot wash their body due to lack of water, and there are areas where they cannot have a satisfying meal. In such areas, the basics of life, "clothing, food, and housing," have not been established. People live in windy homes, wearing undressed clothes and not getting a satisfying meal.
When we saw such a situation, we thought about what we could do now. It aims to improve health based on lifestyle habits by providing basic hygiene guidance such as brushing teeth, washing hands, and masks.
Nakayoshi Gakuen, which is closely related to the community and provides support through "classes," is engaged in activities to find "answers" to all social issues together with the local people.

PEACE LECTURE RWANDA
PEACE LECTURE RWANDA
Meet with the Ambassador of Rwanda in Japan and receive a letter of appreciation
Nakayoshi Gakuen, which has been active in Rwanda since 2017, has been conducting classes to teach viruses and present masks to the local area even during the 2020-2021 Covid19 disaster. In recognition of his achievements, he met with the Ambassador of Rwanda in Japan and received words of appreciation and a letter of appreciation for our activities.
Nakayoshi Gakuen has met many times with the mayor and principals in Rwanda and received words of gratitude, but we are very pleased to receive an evaluation of our activities in Japan. We have renewed our determination to tighten our mind to further enhance our activities in the future.
We will continue our activities in Rwanda and support the development of Rwanda together with our friends.
