Nakayoshi Gakuen to Close NCC Peace Conference with Keynote Lecture on Education and Peacebuilding
Nakayoshi Gakuen is honored to announce that its CEO, Yuichi Nakamura, will deliver the final keynote lecture at the 2025 NCC Peace Conference at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on March 21st, 2025.
The conference, themed "Justice in Action," focuses on the intersection of mental health and the criminal justice system, with events held on March 20th and 21st. The Lehigh Valley Justice Institute will host a symposium on mental health in the criminal justice system on March 20th, while Nakamura’s speech will close the event on March 21st.
Nakamura will share Nakayoshi Gakuen's impactful work in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where the academy supports education and peace-building initiatives for former child soldiers. His presentation will explore how the NGO has empowered these children to rebuild their lives through education, promoting long-term peace in one of the world’s most challenging environments.
Nakayoshi Gakuen is proud to be part of the conversation on global peace and justice and looks forward to contributing valuable insights to the 2025 Peace Conference. The conference offers a platform for crucial discussions on how education, justice, and peace intersect in creating a better world.

On June 22, 2024, Nakayoshi Gakuen held its third United Nations speech of the year, this time at the UN ACUNS (Academic Council on the United Nations System). In response to a global call for reports on peacebuilding activities, Nakayoshi Gakuen submitted a report detailing its past efforts, which was selected for presentation at the event.
President Yuichi Nakamura's speech focused on the theme "Collaborative Strategies for Sustainable Development in Conflict Zones." Nakayoshi Gakuen has successfully collaborated with numerous Japanese companies and carried out activities in conflict and impoverished regions. By analyzing these efforts, President Nakamura introduced a new model of NGOs to the world.
This speech marked another major milestone in the 11-year history of Nakayoshi Gakuen. With this opportunity at the United Nations, Nakayoshi Gakuen will continue to lead global peacebuilding efforts and contribute to worldwide peace through its ongoing initiatives.

On April 24, 2024, following a highly regarded presentation at the United Nations Economic and Social Council in February, Nakayoshi Gakuen was invited to speak at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This speech was made possible by a visit from President Yuichi Nakamura to the UN Headquarters in New York.
President Nakamura's speech was given on "World Creativity and Innovation Day." The activities of Nakayoshi Academy have been unprecedented compared to other organizations. He objectively analyzed and presented why Nakayoshi Academy has been able to make an impact in conflict zones and impoverished areas.
This speech was an incredibly honorable event in the 11-year history of Nakayoshi Academy. With this opportunity at the UN, Nakayoshi Academy is committed to continuing its leadership in global peacebuilding and contributing further to world peace through its ongoing efforts.

February 9, 2024. We gave a speech at the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Our lecture at Windsor Castle in England last year was highly praised, and this speech was made possible through the recommendation of ICCC, a United Nations counterpart partner.
The title of Representative Yuichi Nakamura's speech was "Global Teachers Build Peace as an Innovation Hub'' . We will objectively analyze Nakayoshi Gakuen's activities over the past 10 years to understand the significance of what we have done in the world and our will to further expand our scale and take on the universal theme of peacebuilding. clearly indicated.
My speech was highly evaluated, and I received an offer to give a speech at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in April 2024. Nakayoshi Gakuen is grateful for this unprecedented honor and will continue to contribute to world peace through further activities as an organization that leads world peacebuilding.

Nakayoshi Gakuen is gonna an international conference!
November 2023. This was a first in our history. That is "attending an international conference." Moreover, we were invited to attend the Windsor Council by ICCC, a United Nations counterpart partner.
The invitation letter received by Representative Yuichi Nakamura stated, ``We highly value the activities of Nakayoshi Gakuen and invite you to this conference.'' Nakamura stayed at the historic Windsor Castle in England with leaders from various fields from all over the world and held many discussions. He also chaired the Leadership Subcommittee, where he deepened discussions about world peace by drawing on his experience in educational activities in developing countries and conflict areas.
Nakayoshi Gakuen, which is scheduled to give a speech at the United Nations in 2024, will continue to work in a more responsible position than ever for the development of education and peacebuilding not only in Japan but around the world.

In 2011, the Great East earthquake attacked Japan and Nakamura startede his lesson in refugee camp. Then we started our action in all over the world. We started our lesson in Cambodia(2013), Rwanda(2017), Nepal(2019), DrCongo(2019), Uganda(2021), Myanmar(2023), Syria(2023) , East Timor(2024), South Sudan(2024) and more!!
